Gregory Fernandez
A leader with over twenty five years experience in public life, Gregory Fernandez is the Founder and Managing Director of Software Technology Limited, a leading software developer of Human Resource and Payroll applications, with over ninety (90) customers in Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Barbados, Grenada, St. Vincent, Dominica, St. Lucia, Belize, and Guyana. HRplus Software pays over 90,000 persons each month.
Mr. Fernandez is also well known as a cultural leader who assisted in solidifying the international appeal of soca in his position as Executive President of the International Soca Monarch Competition, a position he held from the inception of the event until 2010, when he stepped down to act as the Advisor to the Chairman of the International Soca Monarch Competition.
He is a professional with training and experience in information technology and accounting, and has served as a member of the Board of NIHERST from 1999 to 2003. While reading for his Bachelor of Sciences in Management Studies with a special focus on Accounting he also served as President of the Students Guild for the St Augustine Campus of the University of the West Indies.
