ttconnect is a department of iGovTT and is a multi-channelled service delivery initiative. This initiative was developed with the intent of improving accessibility to Trinidad and Tobago’s government services and information. ttconnect consists of five (5) delivery channels which are; the Online (portal), six (6) Service Centres throughout Trinidad and Tobago, three (3) Express buses, ttconnect Mobile and five (5) Self-Serve Kiosks. The multifaceted nature of ttconnect underscores the merits of the decentralisation of government services and the utilization of information and communication technologies (ICTs) as a medium for enhanced service delivery and people empowerment.

Under the ttconnect suite of services, essential Government information and services are being made increasingly more accessible and available to the public through any of five channels.  ttconnect Hotline will effectively serve as a Government Call Centre whereby citizens can initially dial a toll-free number to access Government information and services.





ttconnect Online

ttconnect Online is an electronic government portal accessible via the Internet at It provides access to all government websites from a single location. It is user friendly and does not require any special knowledge of the structure of Government (Ministries, Agencies, etc). To date, ttconnect Online is the largest Government services and information search engine in the English speaking Caribbean. ttconnect Online received the World Summit Award for the best e-content project in the Caribbean region in March 2009 while also copping the Caribbean Association of National Telecommunication Organization’s (CANTO)  “Connect The Caribbean” Project of the Year in July 2009.

ttconnect Service Centres

ttconnect Service Centres provide convenient over-the-counter assistance to the public. Through cross-ministry collaboration, citizens can access information and selected services at ttconnect Service Centres located throughout the country.

ttconnect Self-Serve Kiosks

ttconnect Self Serve Kiosks are  a non-intrusive, user-friendly service option for persons interested in accessing Government services via an automated machine .  Closely resembling an ATM machine, the kiosks currently allow users to connect to ttconnect Online and fill in and print application forms. Currently, kiosks are located at the Piarco International Airport, Deluxe Coach Lounge, San Fernando; Gaston Court, Chaguanas  Gulf City Lowlands, Tobago. An additional Kiosk is reserved for inclusion at special events.

ttconnect Express

ttconnect Express is a mobile service centre dedicated to providing the rural communities of Trinidad and Tobago with access to Government information and services. The service center is actually a specially outfitted bus on which representativesall ttconnect transactions can take place with the assistance of customer service specialists stationed onboard. The ttconnect Express bus is equipped with four work stations, computing equipment, storage areas, and a wheel chair ramp. To date it has made its way to several communities including Cumuto, Salybia and Toco.

ttconnect Mobile

ttconnect Mobile allows anyone with an Internet ready mobile phone to access a mobile-enabled version of ttconnect Online by entering ‘’ into their phone’s browser. ttconnect Online automatically adapts to both high and low end smart phones accommodating faster loading times and easier access to Government information.
